GHE courses

All GHE courses are offered in the face-to-face, in-person mode on UW-Madison campus.

Length of study: 1.5 year, up to 2 years. For domestic students, part-time enrollment (3 credits minimum per semester) is allowed.

Completion of the program within 12 months (intensive, fast track) is an option. For details, please contact the program director.

Most of our students choose to graduate in 1.5 year which means they will be taking courses mostly in the Fall, Spring, and Fall semester. (Taking one or two summer courses is optional).

Students who opt for the 2-year track gain more flexibility to design their course plan around personal goals, from exploring diverse courses to pursuing careers, sustaining employment, or enhancing research and professional expertise.

All students will be working with their academic advisor to determine their graduation timeline during the second half of their first semester. Students are also allowed to extend their program when needed.

Students in this program may not take courses outside the prescribed curriculum without faculty advisor and program director approval. Students in this program cannot enroll concurrently in other undergraduate, graduate or certificate programs.
